Join guest teacher, Paul Beckwith, RYT- 200, in this special workshop followed by a seasonally inspired Ayurvedic lunch and tea.
Katonah Yoga is a practice created by Egyptian born, Nevine Michaan, that blends yoga, theory, breathwork, and meditation to potentiate personal and communal well-being. In this workshop we will explore one of the central metaphors within Katonah Yoga, the Body As A House. With nine rooms, three floors and ten doors; we will look at the body as a house and travel around and within our bodies experiencing new angles, new insights and getting to know our house a little better. Some of the benefits of Katonah yoga include: improved breathing and energy flow, increased body awareness, and enhanced alignment and stability.
After yoga, we’ll gather together for a delicious lunch accompanied by comforting digestive tea.
